System Requirements
The recommended workstation setup is a Pentium 500Mhz or better with at least 128MB of memory. Recommended video resolution is 1024x768 with 256 or more colors.
For multi-user SolAce EMC installed at your location, the recommended server setup is a Pentium 4 2Ghz or better with 512MB or more memory. You will likely need a modem on a computer that you want to transmit from, depending on the payers you wish to reach. For the Hosted version you do not need a modem or server, only Internet access is required.

Licensing Details
The Enterprise Edition version of SolAce is a multi-user application
and is licensed per user, also known as per seat or per username.
SolAce download or CD files can be freely given to others,
but your site's subscription/registration key is unique to
you. Anyone with an unregistered copy of SolAce
cannot transmit claims to payers. Also, your registration
expires based on when you paid your annual fee, and SolAce
won't produce HIPAA transmit files if you do not have an active
registration. In our experience the software changes several
times per year to keep pace with regulations, and it could
seriously affect cash flows to submit files with software
that is not up to date. All other features of the software continue to work if you choose not to renew.
Your site name is embedded in the HIPAA transmit files that
SolAce produces for you. It is very important that
you don't let someone else use your registration information.
