SolAce EMC Desktop Edition is a subscription-based package with automatic updates and expert support to get you setup and keep you compliant with HIPAA and payer requirements. The core product includes both direct and clearinghouse transmission modules. We provide free software updates that can be installed with one click of your mouse if you have Internet access, or downloaded from our web site, or sent by mail for a small shipping charge.

System Requirements
The recommended computer setup is a Pentium 500Mhz or better with at least 128MB of memory. Recommended video resolution is 1024x768 with 256 or more colors. You will likely need a modem on the computer you want to transmit from, depending on the payers you wish to reach.

One year subscription to SolAce for the first user.
Add $100 per additional user that you need, or consider
our multi-user Enterprise Edition. This fee covers our
cost of keeping you up to date with insurance company
and HIPAA regulations, and provides you with all software
updates electronically at no additional charge. We
also throw in 4 support blocks with your subscription
fee (a $100 value), in case you need extra support at any
time.
If you have multiple offices owned by the same company
and using one Tax ID you can simply add additional users.
If you have multiple offices with their own tax IDs
they will each need to purchase their own licenses for
SolAce. Inquire for multi-site discounts.

Your setup fee provides you with the software, documentation,
and support necessary to get going with HIPAA compliant
electronic billing. You gain Ivertex as a valuable business
partner for your company. Rely on our team for advice
and assistance enrolling with payers, assistance with
configuring and learning how to use SolAce, and answers
to any other questions you might have.
You will have unlimited phone and e-mail access to
our expert support team during business hours for the first 60 days, plus
60 minutes of support covered by your annual fee for
the rest of the first year. Onsite setups are available
but not included in this price.
You receive an easy to understand printed manual. The
SolAce CD-ROM also contains animated tutorials for computer-based
training, plus an electronic version of the manual in
PDF format.

Resellers
If you are interested in purchasing
SolAce from a value-added reseller in your area
please call us for a referral. Resellers often
have valuable packages that include local, on-site support
and other software products that can save your office time
and money. Resellers may have a different setup fee than we
do depending on the services they provide.
Independent resellers maintain their own return policies, which
may be different from ours. If buying from a local reseller,
ask your reseller about their policies and guarantees.
Licensing Details
The Desktop Edition version of SolAce is a single user desktop application
and is not intended to be used at the same time by multiple
users on a network.
The base annual subscription fee covers the first user at
your company. There is an additional fee of $100 per user
added to your annual fee if you need licensed and support
for more than one user, though we recommend our Enterprise
Edition for multi-user environments. If you purchased
SolAce prior to December 8, 2003 you were licensed per site
instead of per user.
SolAce download or CD files can be freely given to others,
but your site's subscription/registration key is unique to
you. Anyone with an unregistered copy of SolAce
cannot transmit claims to payers. Also, your registration
expires based on when you paid your annual fee, and SolAce
won't produce HIPAA transmit files if you do not have an active
registration. In our experience the software changes several
times per year to keep pace with regulations, and it could
seriously affect cash flows to submit files with software
that is not up to date. All other features of the software continue to work if you choose not to renew.
Your site name is embedded in the HIPAA transmit files that
SolAce produces for you. It is very important that
you don't let someone else use your registration information.
