Larger product features that we are currently working on or at
least have high on the priority list will be listed in this section.
Drop us a line if you have something in mind for this list or want
to give us any ideas to help us out.
ERA
FEATURES
The ERA viewer isn't adequate for people with a lot of ERAs. The
Desktop Edition isn't robust enough to support accounting features,
so we are adding some export features so you can get your ERA data
out. Currently there is only the print preview and save to PDF options.
Please phone or email your suggestions for ERA features and export
file formats to us so we can find out what people need.
The Enterprise Edition (multi-user SolAce) uses a relational database
and has an accounting subsystem at this point. We have automatic
charge posting working, so as you import or enter your claims it
will build the accounting entries (for patient receivables only
at the moment). We are working on auto-posting the remittance data
to the ledger, which means everything will be in one spot and using
proper accounting treatment. This makes it very easy to generate
real financial reports, extract data for ledger posting, and more.
WEB
TRANSMISSIONS
There are less than a dozen connections that we don't have automated
because the payer only provides a web site to drop claims off. As
of version 2.2.7 we have a framework for automating web site submissions,
so we can create automated scripts for all these connections now.
Included on the list are Empire Medicare, BCBS Rhode Island, Missouri
Medicaid, Partnership Health, and a couple others. Medi-Cal and
New Jersey Medicaid are also being added because ERAs are not available
from the BBS, only from the web site.
SECONDARY
CLAIMS
Secondary claim support is present in the 2.2 series but
we just haven't had time to sit down and document it to get the
word out. Cross-referencing ERAs to primary claims is one item on
the wish list.
DME
CMNs and CORRECT CODING INITIATIVE (CCI)
Slated for this winter when things slow down. CCI will be
present in Enterprise Edition first, due to memory constraints in
the Desktop Edition.
